Design Principles Identity & Promotional Publication
The first step in developing the identity for Design Principles was to create the logo. We began developing the mark using a hexagon – the most efficient shape found in nature, a representation of Design Principles technical expertise. To reflect the creative dimension of their work we added another point, turning the hexagon into a heptagon. The logo balances on this seventh point. The client took to calling the mark ‘the seachtagon’.
Printed materials were created using different shades of grey with an acid yellow accent. Instead of a brochure, we created a promotional piece which gave an overview of their services, which can be read as a booklet and unfolds to an abstract graphic poster.
